Well, hi there.

Greetings. I used to be a content creator on youtube about ten years ago, but stopped
because I was very bad at it for personal reasons. Over the years I have occasionally gotten the itch to make videos. Sometimes, I even made some, but just couldn't bring myself to actually upload them. While I had stopped creating content, I never stopped consuming it. Youtube has gotten more and more restrictive. It's not about the creators any more, and copyright abuse is out of control.
Over time I have become more and more interested in youtube alternatives. Iv'e even made accounts on a few of them just to test the waters. In late 2017 I got the courage to start actually posting my videos... on Vidme. Not a few weeks later I heard the news, and that was that. Oh well.
I am pleased to see the rise of Youtube alternatives. The internet needs some decent competition when it comes to user made videos. This "only game in town" thing that Youtube has going on is getting old. It's bothered me, doing a video search and all search results were from youtube. I don't know what changed, but lately I've noticed that there are non-youtube search results. (At least with Duck duck go)
I don't know if I want to make videos again, but if I feel the itch, I'll probably scratch it with Vlare. Have a great day people!
