I'm a first-timer to the bicycle touring scene. Stayed at mostly cheap hotels, lived mostly off of trail mix. If I ever do another tour, I plan on camping at least part of the time, and eating more trail mix.

The inner circle is a square. No, actually, it's a rectangle. It's an open rectangle. The eastern end, longways, is open, facing a juvenile speaker whose thoughts flash back and forth between the eventual destruction of the earth due to global warming and the angle at which she rests her lanky left hand on the desk. Clankily, she clicks the next slide into existence, bequeathing a volley of new information to her peers. The outer circle shrinks and grows with the rising sea levels and the drift of an unfortunate gaseous expulsion. The grid-dwellers groan and smile; the lecture hall has undergone a transition of power. A video jars my eyes to the front of the room, the eastern wall, while annoyingly bombarding my ears with a half-heartedly accented narration. Death. It will all be over. "Rezources." A yellow ambulance. "Hell." The grid has died. Consumerism. Short-sightedness. Wait! It is over. New ideas. Now, it is about women. Husbands. Laws. Poverty. Unfairness.
The knights of the eastern wall have done well. It is time to go.
