Fiction Addiction·
And we're done!

After like a week of reuploading , my entire Youtube library (well, the videos that matter) are now up here on Vlare! From here on out, it's all new content..

I hope you guys enjoy digging through what I've made so far, and look forward to more in the fututre. The response has been so positive so far, and I am really happy that you seem to like it all. There's much more planned.

I should probably address this.

I see there are some worries about "using Vlare as a Dumping Ground" (and even a perfectly reasonable video on the subject in Featured right now), and I totally understand where that is coming from. I won't deny that I am probably coming off as that right now, or that I did hear about the site in the midst of the whole COPPA scare. That much is true. And I do have quite a library built up over a few years that I am now uploading here.

However, I am not by any stretch a "big" YouTuber just dumping my tings (a 5k Sub count over the course of five years is hardly big YouTube numbers), and as much as I was initially looking for an alternative should the worst happen, I really do just want to share my content on as many platforms as I can, what with YouTube being notorious for making getting discovered difficult. I make my sketch-review content for the purpose of sharing media I love / want to discuss with as many people as possible, because I have always loved showing folks and talking about weird movies/shows/comics/games/etc, and I did join VidMe back in the day for the same reason.

It is not impossible that exclusive Vlare content could be made in the future depending on growth, or that I would make a secondary channel for future Speedpaint videos, which I have never gotten traction on and may stop posting to YouTube, but still enjoy making. But even without that, I do not plan to outright ignore Vlare. I have a friend who joined this place too (ScreaminDeer, if you're wondering), and I always try to interact with those that take the time to comment on my work.

Maybe all of this sounds like excuses to you, and if it does, I am sorry for coming across that way. But I really do just want my work seen, and to spread awareness of all the weird media I consume to provide some laughs and some information. Hope you're up for that.

Hello everybody. This is Esh, te creator of the media review channel Fiction Addiction on YouTube, setting up shop here on Vlare.

For starters, I will be reuploading my (decently large) library of media reviews / Top 10s / Other videos made over the last few years, for the sake of having a backup platform, after which I will begin posting new content. Therefore, many of my uploads will have a notice stating when they were originally uploaded to the internet.

Hope you enjoy the content.
