I would describe Compact Conflict as a minimalist war strategy game, akin to Risk and the other online game Warzone. I play the "Amber" colour. It has four difficulty levels: Nice, Rude, Mean, and Evil.

This is essentially my skill level currently. I find being in the middle of the board the most difficult, as other players more than otherwise tend to fight you then, while if in a corner you get some more freedom. With limited turns it becomes easier as you don't really have to care about the long run then, and more about sheer expansion. With fewer players it becomes harder since it's less in-fighting between the AIs.

My next goal is to go to 3 player Endless on Mean, and be able to consistently win there too. The end goal is of course 2 player Endless on Evil.
